Expand your studies in Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Astronomy elementary textbook with this notebooking journal! A perfect way for students to really take pride in their work, this journal includes templates, hands-on crafts and projects, experiment ideas, and many other activities. Student schedules; templates for text and drawn observations; templates for completing the notebooking assignments; review questions; scripture copywork in both manuscript & cursive; project pages to record and log completed projects; full-color, lapbook-style, miniature books that feature room to write what was learned with each activity; vocabulary crossword reinforcement; field trip sheets; and a final review with fifty questions are all included for a full astronomy experience! The daily schedule for completing the reading, activities and projects is designed to be used 2 days a week for 28 weeks, but can be customized to fit your schedule…whether you want to do one day a week, or five! When the course is completed, students will greatly enjoy looking over all their hard work and will be able to remind themselves of the knowledge they’ve attained!

Our Review

My kids enjoyed keeping their science notebooks (easy-to-follow directions are given in the textbook on how to create them) but when Apologia released the notebooking journal, I had to try it out!

Instead of having to make copies or make up our own notebook pages, the notebooking journal does it for you! With mulitple children, this is such a lifesaver! (not to mention TIME saver)

With that said, this is totally optional. You do not have to order this to use the textbook. If you are creative or want to encourage creativity, making your own notebooks will most likely better suit you.
