Kentucky Homeschool Letter of Intent

Letter of Intent

Homeschooling in Kentucky

Below is a sample letter of intent. Complete and mail to your local school district superintendent around 10-14 days before the school year begins.

How often do I file my letter of intent?

You must file a new letter every year.

I HIGHLY recommend you mail your letter of intent by certified mail with return receipt. This serves as your proof you filed. I make a copy of my letter and when the receipt arrives, I staple them together and keep with our attendance records.
